The RECETOX Doctoral Conference is a long-standing annual event held each May. Students presented their work to fellow researchers and faculty members and had the opportunity to discuss their research projects in person. A total of 15 posters were entered into this year’s Best Poster competition. As in previous years, the posters were evaluated by the Ph.D. students themselves, who selected the winning entries from among their peers.
The three highest-rated posters were:
- Aneta Vrzalová – Spatial Patterns of Parkinson's Disease Prevalence: The Need for High-Resolution Spatial Epidemiology
- Tadeáš Dvořák – The Urban Brain: Low-Level Visual Features Increase Metabolic Demand in the Visual Cortex
- Daniel Pluskal – Rational Engineering of Renilla reniformis Green Fluorescent Protein
The doctoral conference also included the doctoral state examinations. Twelve students took part in the examinations, and all successfully passed, allowing them to continue their journey toward earning a doctoral degree.
We congratulate the winners of the Best Poster Award for their excellent contributions and outstanding presentations.
