Join us in popularizing science!
Are you enthusiastic, curious, and enjoy working with people? We’re looking for proactive students and employees to join us for three exciting public science events:
🌱 Mendelfest – July 19, 2025 🔬 Festival of Science – September 5–7, 2025 🌍 Researchers' Night – September 26, 2025
This year’s theme is Soil – a key component of ecosystems that plays a crucial role in food production, biodiversity, and environmental health. Yet despite its importance, soil protection is often overlooked. Together, we’ll explore questions like: What threatens soil today? How can we assess soil quality? Can we detect contamination, and how does it affect the life hidden beneath our feet?
We’re preparing engaging activities that help visitors of all ages understand why soil matters and what we can do to protect it. Whether you enjoy explaining science, organizing interactive exhibits, or simply want to be part of an inspiring team, we’d love to have you with us.
As a team member, you’ll not only get paid for your time, but also gain valuable experience in science communication, meet new people, and enjoy a creative atmosphere. It’s a great chance to connect with fellow colleagues, build your skills, and be part of something truly meaningful.
Come help us inspire others through science and play. Let’s make science fun, accessible, and unforgettable together!
If you have any question, please contact Nikola Pešová (nikola.pesova@recetox.muni.cz).
