About RECETOX - a new promo video about the center was created
Following the launch of the CETOCOEN Excellence - TEAMING project, a new promotional video about RECETOX and the notion of a "Living Laboratory" was created.
At the end of July, the second week-long summer De FactoX workshop was held in cooperation with the VIDA! Science center, and the Secondary Industrial School of Chemistry. The workshop was geared towards high school students ages 15 to 18 who had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of chemicals in the environment through practical laboratory activities, as well as develop their own research topics.

Research data management questionnaire
As part of the university-wide preparations for the new MUNI Open Science Strategy, we request that everyone complete a questionnaire survey about their attitudes and views regarding practical aspects of data management at our Faculty/MU. As MUNI Open Science activities provide a vital service to the scientific community, your feedback is essential.

With the autumn semester quickly approaching, the applications for PhD study programs have been opened. Prospective students can apply from August 1st until November 31st 2020. Please share this information with your networks. Further information can be found on this link.

Recordkeeping, affiliation and dedication of results of scientific and research activities at the Faculty of Science MU
On 14 July, the Faculty of Science MU issued a new directive regulating recordkeeping, affiliations, and dedications of scientific and research results.

Changes in the use of the lift A29
An employee card is no longer necessary when using the lift between the underground floors and pavilion A29.
Shut down of the backup sockets
On 21st August at 8 o´clock, the backup sockets (marked by red and orange colours) in A29 will be shut down due to the planned circuit breaker replacement. The estimated maximum time of interruption is 60 min. Thank you for your patience.

Festival of Science with the South Moravian Region
RECETOX is once again participating in the Festival of Science with the South Moravian Region, which will take place this year on September 4 and 5 at the Dopravní hřiště Riviéra Brno. We are planning a fun program for the whole families and we will be happy if you join us!
We are looking for volunteers to help at the event, where you will take care of visitors and operate stands with scientific experiments, competitions and many other activities.
On Friday, September 18 at 2 pm, we will join the annual nationwide “Let's clean up the world, clean up the Czech Republic" event. We will be happy to support the event by participating on behalf of RECETOX, again. Please join your colleagues to help clean up our immediate surroundings.
