Outreach and cooperation
The outreach and communication within the project are implemented from the beginning of the project. We act on local, national and international level. At the national level, we follow the activities of the National Centre of Toxic Substances and Regional Centre for Capacity Building and Technology Transfer. In line with the change of the scientific orientation of RECETOX (from the environmental sciences to environmental health sciences), there is the vision for the future to extend the coverage of the Centre also to the Health Sciences and the impact of the chemicals and pollution on the health of the population – in the logic of exposome research.
Our communication and outreach activities range from simple press releases, open days and events for prospective students, to representation of the region or the Czech Republic in high profile decision making bodies or even institutional collaboration with the United Nations or WHO. Below we list some of our achievement.
