RECETOX News 6/2021

How to acknowledge funding properly

Are you planning the output of your scientific work of any form (publication, presentation, poster etc.) and because of that, you need to state a correct acknowledgement to the grant, which supported your research? Grant office prepared the following simple tools for you:

Decision tree – an online tool that easily guides you to the correct form of acknowledgement of mandatory projects and all other funding providers by the links.

Generator – an online tool that helps you to search for a specific form of acknowledgement to particular projects by using a filter.

We would appreciate any kind of feedback or comments regarding these new tools. You can contact us on e-mail: grantoffice@recetox.muni.cz. We also do believe that thanks to this, it will be easier for all of us to state the obligatory acknowledgement in our scientific work correctly.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF)

Are you looking for funding for your postdoctoral stay? One of the Horizon Europe programmes – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – offers prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowships (former Individual Fellowships). The Postdoctoral Fellowships target researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills, gain experience in other countries, disciplines and non-academic sectors, and develop their careers. You can apply for European Fellowships (12-24 months, to come to Europe or move within) or Global Fellowships (12-24 months outside the European Union + 12 months mandatory return phase in Europe). If you apply with MUNI (check if you comply with the mobility rule), there are two other options for alternative funding of your research - ERA Fellowships (former Widening Fellowships) and Operational Programme John Amos Comenius managed by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. You can find further information about MSCA-PF at the website of the RECETOX Grant Office or contact directly Veronika Jálová (veronika.jalova@recetox.muni.cz).
