Was the 2020 successful or not? Let's look at few numbers of H2020. In 2020, we have implemented a record number of H2020 projects at RECETOX, the volume of which reaches almost half of the total allocation of H2020 projects at Masaryk University. We realized an increase in the number of students in new study programs, the number of employees - more than 50 newcomers, and in media coverage.
On the contrary, we we have been facing a decrease in publications outcome, by more than 10%, and also in the success of submitted projects.

European Research Council (ERC)
The first ERC calls in 2021 will be delayed due to the late adoption of the EU Budget 2021-2027 and the Horizon Europe programme. The calls due to open in January will be rescheduled to the earliest possible date in 2021, in order to preserve the call calendar that was initially foreseen as much as possible. The expected DL for StG grants is March 2021 and for CoG April 2021. For the time being, the Proof of Concept grant scheme is not included in the Draft 2021 ERC Work Programme. Specific information will be provided on some possible modifications to the scheme that may be made by the Scientific Council.
