Celspac study is launching a new series Get to know your scientist
During the autumn, the six of our scientists, working with data from CELSPAC longitudinal studies, stood in front of cameras to describe their research topics.
In the first episode, the professor and director of the RECETOX Jana Klánová explain the concept of a living lab, which connects scientists, inhabitants of the region, companies, politicians, and participants of our studies.
MUNI Scientist Award for three RECETOXˈs researchers
Branislav Vrana, David Bednář, and Vladimír Šindelář were awarded by Šárka Pospíšilová, the Vice-rector for research and doctoral studies, at Masaryk University.
The award was given to 35 scientists for outstanding research results and significant scientific achievements

Start of publications control before submission to journals
In October started the pilot phase ofcontrol of publications before final submittinginto a journal, which should eliminatemistakesin affiliation and dedication. In those two months, more than 20 manuscripts were checked andthevast majorityofthemhadto be corrected toavoid the loss of points in fulfilling the project’s indicators. Since the new year 2022, the publication which will not be sentfor control before final submitting and will containmistakes, will not be rewarded.
We would like to thank all authors for their cooperation. All necessary information is available on the Intranet.
Rewards for publication results

The three highest rewards went to prof. Luděk Bláha, Dr. Céline Degrendele and Dr. Zdeněk Spáčil.
