Eva Budinská: Cancer behaves like a mafia, and bacteria cover for it.

Eva Budinská is a trained mathematical biologist. In her scientific field, she operates at the intersection of data analysis and biology, meaning her task is not only to process data but also to interpret it. Open Day of the Brno Living Lab

The RECETOX Centre has studied the relationship between humans and the environment for 40 years. The celebration of this event, which will take place throughout the autumn and summer semesters of 2023/2024, began on 21 September with the opening of an exhibition presenting the history of the Centre. The exhibition can be viewed in the Bohunice campus corridor until mid-December.

Katarzyna Kordas - Fulbright grantee came to RECETOX

Kasia Kordas, associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health at the University at Buffalo, has received a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Fellowship. Thanks to this support, Dr. Kordas will be able to spend the fall semester at Masaryk University's RECETOX, where she will spend the next four months developing research collaborations with scientists and contributing to the development of the Environment and Health curriculum.
