The second IRISCC Open Call for Transnational Access will provide researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals with sponsored access to top European research infrastructures and their stations, labs, platforms, tools, and other services. Proposals are welcome from across sectors, with no specific thematic focus. This is an excellent opportunity to advance research on hazards, exposure, and vulnerabilities with support for transnational access (on-site, remote, or hybrid), including travel funding (up to 2000 EUR).

The Werner von Siemens Award
The 28th edition of the Werner von Siemens Award is now in full swing!
As in previous years, it is possible to submit diploma, dissertation, and scientific papers, as well as nominate outstanding educators for recognition in this prestigious competition — nominations are made through institutions. There is no limit to the number of submissions or nominations.
Submissions and nominations can be made until November 30, 2025 (inclusive) via the official website: www.cenasiemens.cz.
For diploma and dissertation theses in technical and natural sciences, the condition for participation is a successful defense between December 1, 2023, and November 30, 2025.
For scientific papers, detailed conditions are available in the competition rules on our website. Papers may be written in Czech, Slovak, or English. There is no limit to the number of works submitted by a single supervisor.
