HERA project Webinar: Chemical Management for a Healthy Future

Kateřina Šebková will chair the webinar and jointly with the speakers and audience will explore some aspects and tools that support the implementation of the EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability.

Our speakers will be :

  • Åke Bergman, Stockholm University, Sweden
  • Szymon Domagalski, Department for Risk Assessment, Bureau for Chemical Substances, Poland
  • Ramon Guardans, Co-chair of the global group of POPs monitoring experts, Stockholm Convention
  • Milena Horvat (tbc), Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia.

Science Party: Julie Dobrovolná - Stress (un)desirable reaction of our body?

Is it stress wanted reaction of our body? Is it better to suppress or eliminate? Are we able to do it? How high stress can the human body tolerate? Is it measurable? We will discuss all these questions in June Watch, Drink& Science lecture with Professor Julie Dobrovolná.

Join the SPRINT study

The SPRINT study is currently recruiting adult participants, ideally couples from one household who live at least 2 km away from agricultural areas. We are especially interested in people who prefer a healthy "organic" diet. What can you gain by participating?

  • data on pesticides in your body or in your environment
  • information on the possible effects of the pesticides on human health
  • advice on preventing exposure to pesticides
