Updated remuneration policy at RECETOX
Following the changes in budgeting of RECETOX Centre, the redefinition of roles and responsibilities of managers and the changes announced after the staff evaluation (EVAK), the RECETOX Centre's Remuneration Policy has been updated. The new remuneration scheme reflects the priorities of RECETOX, puts remuneration in the hands of managers and favours qualitative over quantitative evaluation.

Transfer of annual leave
We would like to ask you to check in INET that all days of your annual leave are approved – ie. that you have “0” in remaining to apply. In case there are some days remaining, please, submit them for approval.
Leave must be taken until 31. 12. 2022, unless prevented by:
• obstacles to work on the part of the employee (long-term illness, etc.)
• urgent operational reasons (e.g. necessity to complete the work/task/project preparation etc. within the deadline; covering the work for the absent worker; taking care of the visiting worker during the autumn when you originally planned the holiday, etc.) or a combination of both.
The transfer of the annual leave should be exceptional. Please also note that transferred leave may be an unallowable expense on projects.
Please check that you have submitted all the leave days you have had and that you have not just planned them.

Tomáš Slanina graduated in Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University under the supervision of Petr Klán from RECETOX. He ranks among the most prominent representatives of the emerging generation of chemists.

Healthy soil for environmental and social sustainability and resilience in Brno
The first stakeholder discussion workshop of the international BENCHMARKS project will take place at RECETOX. The theme of the workshop is Healthy soil for environmental and social sustainability and resilience in Brno. We will discuss the importance of soil in cities, its degradation, and possible steps to improve and maintain healthy soil in Brno.
