Background and objectives:
Sustainable production of safe water, i.e. water free of hazardous bacteria and toxic micropollutants or their byproducts, is of premier importance for drinking water suppliers as well as for treatment of wastewater intended for recycling – e.g. reuse in urban, technological or agricultural applications.
The objective of the symposium is to discuss with experts and stakeholders outcomes and experiences from the EIG CONCERT Japan project INLEDApp (2020-2023), which coordinated efforts of partners from Germany, Japan and Czech Republic that explored aspects of innovative UV LED technologies and their efficiency, implementation, validation and standardization as well as safety for health and environment.
Who should/could participate
Experts from businesses, academia, application specialists, innovators, regulators as well as university students interested in novel and sustainable water purification technologies and their practical use.
