RECETOX hosts the National Center for Toxic Compounds (NC) in the Czech Republic and the Stockholm Convention Regional Center (RC) for Capacity Building and Technology Transfer. The Centers support the transfer of new research findings into environmental practice nationally and internationally, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe.

The National Center links the innovation potential of RECETOX to the needs of partners from the public and private sectors and identifies application opportunities in the field of environment and health. The Regional Center partners with United Nations implementing agencies (UNEP, UNIDO, UNDP) in the development of global monitoring and information systems and capacity building.

RECETOX is also active in the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) coordinating international efforts to build a Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). RECETOX is a lead GEOSS partner in the area of Health and the GEO initiative on Global Observation System for Persistent Organic Pollutants (GOS4POPs).
