RECETOX hosts the National centre for Toxic Compounds (NC) in the Czech Republic and the Stockholm Convention Regional Centre (RC) for Capacity Building and the Transfer of Technology supporting rapid transfer of new research findings into environmental practice nationally and internationally, in particular in the Central and Eastern Europe but also beyond.
The National centre links the innovation potential of the RECETOX to the needs of partners from public and private sectors and identifies application opportunities in the field of environment and health. The Regional centre is a partner of choice for United Nations implementing agencies (UNEP, UNIDO, UNDP) in the field of development of global monitoring and information systems including building necessary capacities.
RECETOX is also active in the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) coordinating international efforts to build a Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). RECETOX is a lead GEOSS partner in the area of Health and the GEO initiative on Global Observation System for Persistent Organic Pollutants (GOS4POPs).
