Information systems and data analysis
This facility consists of two cooperating groups. The first group consists of information systems and databases, represented mainly by the GENASIS Information system, which enables joint analysis and visualization of data on environmental contamination of partner institutions, and which has become an associated part of the Information System for the Environment of the Czech Republic. On the basis of GENASIS, the UN Environment Program (UNEP) has commissioned the creation of an official tool for collecting and visualizing the data of the Global Monitoring Plan to assess the effectiveness of the Stockholm Convention (www.pops-gmp.org). The second unit is a group providing services and biostatistical and bioinformatic analyzes of data from existing databases, but also from new experiments.
Information systems and databases
This facility offers software tools for management, analysis, interpretation and visualization of environmental data so that it is accessible not only to the scientific community, but also for qualified decision-making, legislation and evaluation of the effectiveness of international environmental conventions (BRS).
Bioinformatics for exposome research
From genomics to metabolomics and from epigenomics to biomedical imaging, this facility offers integrated data analysis and tailor-made solutions to the experimental phase of research.
