Consortium

To establish the Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health Sciences the Masaryk University will be supported by leading European research institutions - University College London (UCL), Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI-ERIC), and International Clinical Research Centre (ICRC) at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Masaryk University

Masaryk University, which is the second biggest university in the Czech Republic, is the coordinator of the project. The RECETOX Centre, established in 1983 at the Faculty of Science, is responsible for the project implementation at the the Masaryk University.

RECETOX is engaged in research and education in the field of management of environmental and health risks related to chemicals around us. RECETOX Centre is the entity around which the European Centre of Excellence is being developed.
