The students presented their scientific work to a professional community of their colleagues and teachers, who actively participated in discussions and poster evaluation. The total number of registered works for the best poster competition this year reached 31. Nine students competed in the first category A for students of 1st and 2nd year, and 22 students competed in the second category B for 3rd and higher years students. The posters were judged by the Ph.D. students, who selected the winners of both categories. In the end, both categories had three winners due to the equal number of points received.

The doctoral conference also included the state doctoral exams. This year, all 18 students successfully passed them, opening the door to obtaining a doctoral degree and a subsequent scientific career. The evaluation took place in the presence of the members of the doctoral program board and the supervisors of the doctoral theses of each student. Doctoral students actively participated in the organization of the conference and gained valuable experience for their professional and personal development.

The prize for the best posters in category A was awarded to:

Mlčůchová Natálie: Microbiome and pharmacotherapy in patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Dvořák Tadeáš: Urban environments, stress, and its biomarkers.
