The conference at RECETOX is already a traditional May event. After a two-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it was held for the fourth time in person.
Students presented their work directly to their colleagues and teachers and discussed their research projects face-to-face. This year, a total of 18 works were entered into the competition for the best conference poster. The posters were once again evaluated by Ph.D. students themselves, who selected the winners from among their ranks.
The top three posters were:
- Daria Sapunova, topic: "BISPHENOL EXPOSURE in the Czech Population Before and After Legislative Changes",
- Natálie Mlčůchová, topic: "Streptococcus to Prevotella Ratio in Inflammatory Changed Esophageal Tissues a Metagenomic Observational Study",
- Martin Sitte, topic: "Functional Characterisation of the Luminous Apparatus of the Sea Pen Pennatula Phosphorea".
The doctoral conference also included state doctoral exams. Seven students participated in the state final exams. All of them successfully passed the exam and can continue on their path to obtaining a doctoral degree.
Congratulations to the winners of the "Best Poster Award" for their excellently prepared contributions.
