How to apply

1. Select the study field and the actual topic

The students will enrol in one of the two PhD study programmes – název 1 a název 2. For every study programme, the PhD topics are defined on the dedicated web-page. Once you will find the topic you are interested in, contact the thesis’s supervisor to discuss the actual focus of the dissertation project and possible conditions or details to get the complete picture about the study at RECETOX.

2. Submit your application

The applications are to be submitted via the information system. On this dedicated webpage, you should “Create the new application”, which will redirect you to the new page, where you should select the area of study “Biology, chemistry, geography and geology”, set a type of study to “doctoral study”, study mode “Teaching on working days”, select the “Faculty of Science” and then click on the area of study (jedno nebo druhé).

Then you click on the button “create” to start the application and fill all the necessary documents.

Apart of the necessary information, you have to upload (Anisa):

• CV
• Dopis of supervizora
• Motivation letter?
• Diplomy?

To complete the application, you have to pay the admission fee of 600 CZK, which is compulsory.

3. Admission process

The first step is the formal check of the applications. Only the complete applications will be assessed.

The interview is in English and may be realized via the electronic tools (communication programmes, teleconference).

4. Enrolment

The students will be informed about the results of the application process no later than ???. The successful candidates will be invited to enrol – kdy?

The international students will be contacted individually in order to pass the formal procedures necessary for Certificate of receiving the Recognition of International Education in the Czech Republic (the recognition is compulsory for enrolment to study, not for the admission process).
